Each person who comes to Chrysalis is unique, with different challenges and goals for their lives. That’s why we tailor our wide range of Day Habilitation and Vocational Programs to the needs and interests of each individual we serve. We offer both Recreation and Social and Work Skill Development activities in a nurturing social environment where adults can form lasting friendships, developing new skills that help them live life to the fullest.

CommUnity ​

Chrysalis is known for offering a wide rage of community based volunteer and work training opportunities. It is our belief that communities are stronger when all it's members are valued for their contributions. Chrysalis participants have the opportunity to volunteer for local non-profit organizations providing vital assistance to these businesses. In addition we also offer paid work training opportunities at local businesses.

Career Exploration & Training

Participants have opportunities to explore areas of interest, try various jobs and be paid for work training.

Chrysalis works closely with the team to identify areas of interest and make recommendations.

Recreational Exploration

Music –adults to learn to play instruments and participate in fun group activities such as karaoke and talent shows.

Cooking – Staff teach basic cooking and meal preparation to those who want to develop independent living skills.

Exercise – Group sports develop social skills and physical fitness. We also participate in daily chair exercises and yoga

Computers – learn basic computing skills such as using the Internet to learn about the world around them

Games – From board games to cards to bingo, games offer a fun way to improve social and motor skills.

Learning – Adults explore the world around them through hands-on science projects, nature walks and other activities.
